ZOMG I PASSED! YAY!!

So, I passed my physical for the Army down in Little Rock, which is a giant ghost-town BTW. I've been sworn in and everything, I ship out to Fort Jackson, SC, in August...



As you all have no doubt noticed, this Army thing means a lot to me. I made it a point to go out of my way to notify my blonde-haired-blue-eye-bimbo-boss (who is male, so that makes it even more funny) at least a month ahead of time exactly when I was leaving for Little Rock and exactly how long I'd be gone. I wrote a time-off request, wrote it in the front desk logbook twice with super-dark pen gouges on the page, and told everyone else, employees and regular guests alike, when I was going.

Why all the trouble? Because the bimbo-bossman forgets stuff a lot, he dwarfs my A.D.D. most days.

And sure enough, while I was peeing in a cup in front of a nurse and getting poked with needles by a lady from the Air Force, he tried to call me in to work while I was away. He tried to call me in TWICE.

Oh, it gets better.

After he couldn't get me on the phone he decided to leave the new girl by her lonesome (on her first day) at the front desk, AND DRIVE TO MY HOUSE! Hardcore not cool! My poor husband was furious! Seriously, dude! What is up with this guy?

I've never had an employer come to my house looking for me! As if not picking up the phone ON MY SCHEDULED DAY OFF wasn't enough of a clue!
